Last week there was a Polytechnic Forum Workshop which was held at Nanyang Polytechnic(NYP). This year, NYP was the one hosting and organising this event. The workshop was one week long and it was a jam packed week.

Poly Forum is actually held on a yearly basis where representatives from all the 5 Polytechnics in Singapore(TP,SP,NYP,NP,RP) will gather and talk about relevant issues pertaining to the community. Participants of Poly Forum not only consist of students but also staff of each Poly. The staff will act as Facillitators for Poly Forum and will help participants with their relevant topic so that participants will be ready for their presentation on the actual Poly Forum day which was for this year a 4 day 3 nights event at Downtown East.

The wrokshop is basically for the participants to bond with their teammates as the team consists of differents people from all the different Polys. Besides bonding, participants are also required to do through research on their topics and also think of ways of how they will be presenting their topic on the Presentation/Performance Night of the actual Poly Forum day. Through the week each team also attended talks, visit CCs and other places which are relevantto thier topics which will aid in thier research.

Hey all!! Aren't you glad that the holidays are finally here?
We get to finally take a break from our books and start
enjoying ourselves(well, some of us that is =P).

Holidays is a good opportunity to work and earn some
money without having  to depend on our parents all the time!!
Independent yo!!

Today is also the first day of the fasting month so Happy Fasting to
all our Muslim friends. =))

Hey all!!

Last Friday, the Director's Cup for basketball was held.
My..my.. the players who took part in this friendly competition took the match really seriously and this can be soon from the way they play.

Every match was really intense and we can really see that these participants are really passionate about basketball. There were instances whereby there were disagreements between opposing team but at the end of the day they shook hands and some even hugged each other.. you can imagine with their sweaty and wet body..
=P

The match was played in a knockout system so there was no room for the palyer to slack and they had to get their game on as soon as they step on the court.
So by the end of the day 3 teams managed to qualify to the finals.
They are:
1) OK
2) IBT
3) FCUK
CONGRATULATIONS! for the teams who made it to the finals.=)

Be sure to catch the final on Wednesday, 6th August 2008. It will either be held at the outdoor basketball court or the indoor basketball court.

The other day there was this event that was held in
Auditorium 1.

This event was meant for the students. Through this event,
the school shows their appreciation towards the students
on how they contribute to their various CCA.

It eally was an event not to be missed as the smiles on the students
faces were priceless. It was really obvious that that event was solely
meant for the students. The amount of effort put in by the staff was
simply remarkable.

The whole event turned out a success.

EEk!! term break is almost over sigh!!!
it's too soon!!!!
i still want to stay at home and just do nothing..

anyway i went over to my cousin's place the other
day and i realised that it has been really long since
i met up with them...

i especially miss my nieces and nephews!!
they are just an adorablebunch who obviously will
make a lot of noise but hey!! they are called children
for a reason right?

i only managed to take a pic of one of them cause the
rest just REFUSED tp post for me!! hmpft!!
and here i was eager to snap their pictures...
maybe next time...

Hi peepz, hw r ur hols going on?Mine is going on okay with a fair bit of work and play.We had a class outing on the 12th of June, coz the next day was fri the 13th so we didn't really like the date haha juz kidding, most of my classmates were all involved in some form of activity before or after that date, hence the 12th..

We headed to ..SENTOSA..yeah to Palawan Beach.WE ate, snacked, played, took pictures most importantly we bonded.We also bumped into some of our tp mates whom i believe were having their orientation.
